Boston-based Seyon Group is expanding its portfolio of industrial real estate with the $85 million acquisition of a 402,249-square-foot manufacturing and warehouse facility at Devens.
The property at 112 Barnum Road was originally developed in 2008 for Evergreen Solar’s headquarters and later converted into multitenant space. The 23-acre property has expansion potential, The Seyon Group said in announcing its acquisition. The seller was Artemis Real Estate Partners of Chevy Chase, Maryland.
The property is 100 percent leased to two tenants, including manufacturer Nypro Inc. which expanded to 257,060 square feet in 2019. The facility has 32-foot clear heights and 17 loading docks.
“112 Barnum Road is a state-of-the-art facility that will continue to attract world-class organizations because of its highly unique infrastructure characteristics and its exceptional location in Devens,” Andrew Iglowski, managing partner at The Seyon Group, said in a statement.
Artemis Real Estate Partners acquired the property in 2015 for $36 million.
