Shawmut Design And Construction Hires Surette

Surette, David Shawmut Design and Construction has named David Surette as its new director of the health care and life sciences division in Boston.

Surette will oversee all health care and life sciences operations. As the key owner liaison, he is responsible for ensuring client satisfaction in all aspects of the project as well as monitoring project schedule and budget.

Surette comes to Shawmut with experience as a senior level executive in the health care and life sciences industry. His portfolio includes the 1.1 million-square-foot Center for Life Sciences in Boston’s Longwood Medical Area and Harvard Medical School’s 720,000-square-foot New Research Building.
