Site Work Under Way at West Roxbury Development

Callahan Construction Managers has resumed site work in West Roxbury at the site of an 254-unit apartment complex being developed by Lincoln Property Co.

The Parkway apartments will span two 4-story buildings totaling 372,823 square feet and a five-story 387-space parking garage at 1545-1555 VFW Parkway.

Callahan and subcontractors are installing underground utilities and foundations in preparation for vertical construction. Completion is scheduled for February 2022.

The 4.6-acre site formerly contained a surface parking lot and vacant land. Boston Planning & Development Agency directors approved the $94-million project in March 2019.
