South Shore Bank customers will now enjoy free ATM usage at all 7-Eleven stores across the country.

The bank said in a statement released yesterday that it will provide customers with fee-free unlimited access to cash in more than 8,000 7-Eleven stores under a new multi-year agreement with FCTI Inc., a nationwide solutions provider specializing in ATM marketing and convenience opportunities for financial institutions and retailers.

The partnership includes branding and marketing technology, turning 7-Eleven machines into South Shore Bank-branded ATMs anytime a South Shore Bank ATM or debit card is inserted.

“Expanding our ATM network and providing free access to cash provides our customers greater flexibility and control of their finances they need today,” South Shore Bank CEO James Dunphy said in a statement. “We are very excited about this new partnership with FCTI. Our valued clients deserve no-fee access to their own money. Plus, there is the important benefit of being able to market South Shore Bank nationwide, introducing our banking model to more potential customers.”

South Shore Bank has more than $1.4 billion in assets and has 16 branches throughout the Plymouth and Norfolk counties.
