During the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, when Zoom meetings and social distancing became the norm and downtown rents plummeted, the prognosis for previously bustling cities became dire. Some feared the urban metropolis would never recover from what appeared to be a mass exodus in favor of suburban seclusion.

National Real Estate Advisors and The HYM Investment Group didn’t share that sentiment and took a bullish stance on Boston’s inherent resiliency. We forged onward with our revival of Bulfinch Crossing, the keystone connecting downtown Boston’s neighborhoods.

As we predicted, the return to city living after lockdown has been much like a modern-day renaissance.

When buyers returned, their expectations had shifted. The June 2021 delivery of The Sudbury’s condos, part of a 48-story luxury tower and the first residential building built in the neighborhood in decades, couldn’t have been better timed.

This boutique condominium of 55 expansive homes comprises the top 11 floors of the tower, each with multiple exposures and arguably the city’s best views. Empty-nesters and out-of-state residents are drawn to the grandly-scaled floor plans, the two direct-access self-park garage spaces and the central location at 110 Sudbury St., which boasts a Walk Score of 99 and a Transit Score of 100.

Prized Al Fresco Space Overlooks North End

We designed purposeful amenity spaces that serve as on-demand extensions of the home – from the cabana-style outdoor heated swimming pool to the state-of-the-art 4,500-square-foot fitness center and yoga studio to the dog run and pet spa.

There’s also no shortage of prized al fresco space between the pool deck and a 3,000-square-foot sky terrace on the 32nd floor showcasing panoramic views. Homeowners can also enjoy exclusive access to an intimate rooftop garden, designed by New York-based Rottet Studio, overlooking the harbor.

Adjacent to the North End’s restaurant scene, historic Beacon Hill, the waterfront and a few minutes’ walk to the Financial District and Boston Garden, Bulfinch Crossing offers those who live, work and play at this mixed-use development easy access to the Rose Kennedy Greenway, Massachusetts General Hospital and multiple MBTA and commuter rail lines.

Spanning two city blocks, the project also includes the One Congress office tower, an architectural icon that is already fully leased and will be the future headquarters of State Street Corp. and InterSystems.

National and HYM comprise the ownership and development team and our partners at CBT Architects designed the tower. Campion & Co. is the exclusive broker.
