A freestanding supermarket in Taunton has sold for $10.15 million.

An affiliate of Boston development firm Samuels & Assoc. sold the 6-acre property to Agree Realty, a Michigan-based, publicly-traded REIT on Jan. 10 according to documents filed with the Bristol Registry of Deeds.

Completed in 2006, the 56,500-square-foot building is leased to Hannaford Bros. The property also includes a parking lot with 279 spaces. The highly visible six-acre lot sits at the heavily traveled intersection of Warner Boulevard and U.S. Route 44 (±18,550 cars per day) in Taunton, Massachusetts. The U.S. Route 44 corridor features many notable retailers within a quarter mile of the property.

CBRE’s Kyle Juszczyszyn and Will Pike exclusively represented the seller and procured the buyer.

“Through a competitive process we were able to secure a buyer and close in 15 days from signing of the letter of intent,” Juszczyszyn said in a statement.
