The First National Bank of Ipswich (FNBI) has named Stephen Keefe and Bruce Macdonald branch managers of the Rowley and Ipswich offices, respectively.
Keefe, who was also named assistant vice president, has more than 20 years of banking experience and will be responsible for the retail operations including acquiring and managing new business relationships at the bank’s office at 144 Newburyport Turnpike, Rte 1. .
"I enjoy working with a local bank where relationships with clients is more personal. FNBI has a better understanding of client needs," said Keefe, who lives in Byfield.
Macdonald will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations as branch manager of the bank at 31 Market St.
Macdonald of Rowley has been with the bank for 10 years, beginning in customer service. In 2000, he was promoted to assistant vice president and branch manager of the Rowley office. He worked there until this recent transfer to the main office.
