Has The Raffles tower in Boston’s Back Bay dethroned downtown’s Millennium Tower for the title of “swankiest address in the city,” beating out 150 Seaport Blvd. and Winthrop Center in the process? It can be tempting to argue that after seeing the second and third sales in this week’s Gossip Report, where a Millennium resident ditched their digs for a new, albeit smaller unit in The Raffles. One note in Millennium’s defense, though: this particular unit’s price per square foot rose faster between its first sale in 2016 and now than the median sale price for condominiums in Boston’s core over the same period.
