W.P. Carey Buys Schneider Electric HQ For $56M

Schneider Electric W.P. Carey Inc. of New York has acquired 800 Federal St. in Andover for $56 million.

The 235,943-square-foot office complex was completed in 2014 as the U.S. research and development headquarters of Schneider Electric, housing up to 900 employees.

HFF represented the sellers, Long Wharf Real Estate Partners and Leggat McCall. The HFF investment sales team was led by Senior Managing Director Coleman Benedict, Director Ben Sayles and Real Estate Analyst Patrick McAneny.
