A piece of land, coined the largest listed for sale in the state, will be auctioned next month.

Great Rock Real Estate will auction the Twining Lake Property at the foothills of the Berkshire Mountains in Tolland on Oct. 20.

The property can be bought in its entirety of roughly 843 acres or in any combination of six parcels ranging from three to approximately 450 acres, according to a statement.

The property is an 843-acre parcel of unspoiled land with rolling hills, a 125-acre lake and 900-feet of frontage along the Farmington River. The land is a prime hunting and fishing preserve, according to a statement.

Freid, managing principal of Great Rock Real Estate. Great Rock will be holding site inspections Sept. 22, Oct. 4 and Oct. 13 before the sealed bid deadline on Oct. 20.
