Westfield Property Sold to Manufacturing Company

A metal manufacturer will open a new facility in Westfield following its purchase of a nearly 230,000-square-foot industrial building next to Westfield-Barnes Regional Airport.

The property at 323 Lockhouse Road traded for $14.5 million to Erdoganlar Aluminum, a manufacturer of extruded aluminum products.

The 26-acre site, located two miles from the Massachusetts Turnpike includes, a 52-year-old industrial building with 24-to-28-foot clear heights.

David Stubblebine, David Berman, and Chris Michniewicz of The Stubblebine Co./CORFAC represented the buyer. JLL’s Shawn McMahon represented seller SL 323 Lockhouse Road LLC.

The property previously traded for $6.15 million in 2019.

The industrial availability rate in Greater Boston rose from 3.7 to 4.2 percent during the second quarter, according to a recent report by CBRE.
