WS Development announced 14 of the 25 new retailers that will occupy its new 27 Boylston project in Chestnut Hill, a redevelopment at The Street retail property.

The former AMC Theatre building is being updated as a multi-tenant retail complex scheduled to open in mid-2024.

Spanning 90,000 square feet in the 3-story structure, the project was designed by architects Sasaki and WS in-house designers. Topped by a vintage-style sign, it retains elements of the former theater facade including brickwork, while adding enlarged windows, metal and wood building elements and greenery.

The first phase of 14 openings will include food, wellness and retail tenants including Winston Flowers, Pink Carrot cafe, sauna and cold plunge studio SweatHouz, Alo Yoga, apparel brand Reformation and workout studio Solidcore. Additional tenants include outdoor clothing vendor Arc’Teryx, jeweler Brilliant Earth, apparel chain Marine Layer, womenswear brand M.M. LaFleur, New England OBGYN Assoc., sleepwear brand Roller Rabbit, Skin Laundry and boutique WHEAT.

The existing property includes more than 40 retail and entertainment-themed tenants.
