William M. Yates has been named vice president and business development officer in the Wealth Management department of Cambridge Trust Co.

Yates comes to Cambridge Trust Co. with 30 years of experience in the investment industry, having most recently served as senior vice president at Cannon Financial Institute.

Duca, executive vice president and head of Wealth Management. "Wealth management continues to present a significant growth opportunity, and in his new role, Bill is poised to expand the business for the bank."

Yates earned a bachelor’s degree from Haverford College and a law degree from Suffolk University Law School. He lives in Weston with his wife and has three grown children.
