CBT Architects recently announced the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) accreditation of 19 staff members and a pledge to participate in the AIA 2030 Commitment.
"LEED accreditation demonstrates a thorough knowledge of green-building practices and principles," said Robert A. Brown, principal of CBT. "With over 40 LEED APs on staff, CBT is deeply committed to sustainable design, and we will continue to encourage and support our staff in enhancing the green building practices of the firm."
In the last three months, 19 CBT employees have become LEED APs, including: Aristotle Bakalos, John Bedell, Andres Bernal, Robert Brown, Henry Celli, Stephanie Goldberg, Emil Gosselin, Karen Greene, Irene Huang, Angela Johnson, Weiyu Lai, Jennifer Miller, Chad Morig, Kate Neaton, Kim Ressler, Ellen Perko, Shana Shevitz, Guy Sturgis and Matthew Stymiest.
In addition, CBT has pledged participation in the AIA 2030 Commitment – a voluntary program through which AIA member firms and other entities in the built environment make a pledge to develop multi-year action plans and implement steps to advance AIA’s goal of creating carbon neutral buildings by the year 2030.
