American Ireland Fund

The American Ireland Fund honored Bank of America’s Anne Finucane for her philanthropic efforts in Ireland and worldwide, and raised a record-breaking $2.6 million at the Boston Gala in support of the Worldwide Ireland Funds Promising Ireland campaign.

Recipients were:

  • 2nd place – Centre Street Food Pantry ($8,000)

  • 4th place – Newton Schools Foundation ($4,000)

Cape Cod Five Cents Savings Bank

The Cape Cod Five Cents Savings Bank donated $10,000 from its charitable foundation trust to the Community Health Center of Cape Cod to assist in the operational costs of a new optometry clinic.


Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage

The Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage office in Westford recently donated $1,710 to the Council on Aging’s Cameron Senior Center in Westford for emergency fuel assistance.


Community Foundation Of Southeastern Massachusetts
The Bank Five Foundation, a fund of the Community Foundation of Southeastern Massachusetts, recently awarded $25,000 to Coastline Elderly Services Inc. to support the purchase of a new “Meals on Wheels” program delivery vehicle.

H & K Insurance Agency Inc. in Watertown will participate in a local, annual Toys for Tots drive.

North Shore Bank employees raised $1,100 for Danvers’ Operation Troop Support through its Jeans Day program, which encourages staff to donate $5 per week to go toward a local charity in exchange for the option to wear jeans to work.

radius financial group inc. launched a new campaign, Veterans Helping Veterans, which allows active duty members of the Armed Forces, members of the Reserves and Massachusetts National Guard, honorably discharged veterans and Gold Star family members the opportunity to receive up to 100 percent financing on a single-family home or condominium (or low down payment options for two- and three-family homes) if they are a qualified borrower.


Rollstone Bank & Trust

Rollstone Bank & Trust recently donated $5,000 to the Cleghorn Neighborhood Center in Fitchburg, to be used in its afterschool programs to support more than 150 elementary, middle and high school students in the areas of academics, computer technology, employability, life skills and recreation.

RTN Federal Credit Union in Worcester partnered with the Worcester Telegram & Gazette as a Gold Sponsor in a national program aimed at increasing literacy and real-world knowledge among students.
