Developer Eastern Equity Partners has filed a proposal to replace a lumber yard with 85 apartments on the outskirts of downtown Revere.
Plans for 43 Foster St. appear to call out only one amenity: 51 covered parking spots in a ground-floor garage. But the project is steps from the MBTA’s 116 and 110 high-frequency bus routes connecting the area to the Blue Line subway terminus at Wonderland.
The project would need variances for parking, setbacks, floor area ratio and height, plus a special permit from the Revere City Council, according to city staff comments on the application.
Eastern Equity Partners is a Revere-based and -focused developer and multifamily landlord whose website lists a portfolio of at least 13 buildings, including many of the wave of smaller multifamily developments that have gone up in the city’s western half in the last 10 years alongside the large multifamily buildings that continue to rise along Revere Beach.
