Operator Patina Restaurant Group will host a job fair Thursday for the 16,000-square-foot food court at The Hub on Causeway, which had been scheduled to open in 2020 but put on hold during the pandemic.

The Delaware North Co. subsidiary said it’s offering $1,000 bonuses and will be making immediate offers for eligible positions at the Hub Hall. The company said it’s looking for managers, servers and back-of-the-house staff, according to an online job listing.

The venue is expected to open sometime in September, TD Garden spokeswoman Tricia McCorkle said.

The ground-floor space located between the Citizen M hotel and Star Market at The Hub on Causeway was designed to accommodate 18 vendors and seating capacity for 500 diners. In 2019, Patina announced Monica’s Mercato, Sullivan’s Castle Island, Mike’s Pastry and Momosan Ramen as its first round of vendors.

But the winter 2020 opening was delayed following the onset of the COVID pandemic.

Restrictions on indoor dining during COVID also delayed plans for the opening of an $18-million, 18,000-square-foot food hall at 100 High St. in the Financial District. A third venue, Time Out Market in the Fenway, reopened in May.

Patina also operates the Banners Kitchen & Tap sports bar at The Hub on Causeway, and took over the New England Aquarium’s food service operations in 2019. The company provides catering and food service at more than 60 venues on the East and West Coasts.
