Multimedia design company Boston Productions Inc. recently signed a 10-year, 16,680-square-foot lease at 290 Vanderbilt Ave. in Norwood.

Boston Productions will make the Vanderbilt Avenue property its new headquarters in November, according to a statement. The company is moving from 100 Morse St. in Norwood.

Cathy Minnerly, executive vice president/principal at Boston-based NAI Hunneman brokered the lease, according to a statement. Craig Barker of Boston Advisors represented the landlord, Distribution Services of America.

"We’re very excited to relocate to our new facility, which doubles the size of our current space," said Karen Lewko, chief financial officer of Boston Productions. "The new office and production facilities will allow us to grow and expand not only our physical space but also our creative talent."

"Our client wanted to stay in the area and had some specific requirements," said Minnerly. "We researched a number of desirable and suitable locations before deciding upon 290 Vanderbilt Ave."

Built in 1980, the 61,000-square-foot, one-story office/flex and warehouse building is located on a four-acre site.
