Rita DaSilva and Kristen Day have joined Jack Conway Realtors’ Hingham and South Boston office, respectively.
For DaSilva, attending the Conway Country School of Real Estate last month is what sold her on joining Conway.
"I had such a positive experience at the pre-licensing school," she said. "Everyone I met had enthusiasm and knowledge that they were willing to share with me. I could easily see that Jack Conway Co. is made up of team players, and I like that very much."
DaSilva and her husband Carlos live in Hingham with their two sons, Andre, 14, and Edson, 11. Before getting her real estate license in September she was a stay-at-home mom and worked part-time in retail sales.
"Rita is raising her young family in Hingham and she has a thorough knowledge of our community," said Conway-Hingham Manager Mary McCready. "She has a true passion for real estate, and I know she will be a huge success."
Day, an experienced Boston-area sales agent, sold real estate in the South End for eight years before joining the Conway-South Boston team this month, according to a statement.
"If you live in South Boston, chances are I’ve been in your home," Day said. "I wanted to be with a solid company with a strong presence in South Boston. Right now we have great mortgage rates and sustained value in our marketplace. That’s a good place to be."
"It’s great to have an experienced Realtor like Kristen join our group," said Fran Curran, manager of Jack Conway’s South Boston sales office. "She has been very successful in her profession and knows the territory inside and out. She will be a wonderful addition to our staff."
A Marblehead native, Day lives in Boston with her husband Michael Brown and their 1-year-old son Langdon. She is a graduate of the Massachusetts College of Art.
