Quincy-based Elaine Realty has sold a 21,000-square-foot commercial property in Abington for $2.6 million.
A private investor from Weymouth purchased the building at 1035 Bedford St. in a sale that closed on Feb. 27. It was built in 2005 and operates at 95 percent occupancy. It includes 8,400 square feet of retail, 4,600 square feet of office and 8,000 square feet of warehouse space.
Drew Kirkland, a senior associate at Northeast Private Client Group’s Framingham office, represented the seller. David Ellis of Jack Conway Commercial in Norwell represented the buyer.
"The successful completion of this sale is yet another positive indication of the strong demand for commercial properties in suburban Boston submarkets," Kirkland said in a statement. "We were able to create tremendous competition among qualified buyers to acquire this asset."
