Norwell-based Acella Construction Corp. has promoted Scott Brash to senior superintendent.
Brash has been with Acella for nearly five years, first joining the firm as a project superintendent. In this role he will oversee the work of Acella’s eight field superintendents, on a variety of diverse construction projects.
Prior to joining Acella, Brash was a project superintendent with Shawmut Design and Construction, Boston. He is involved with the Appalachia Service Project, where he is part of a team that took 100 children around the country, including to Kentucky and West Virginia, where they worked on houses to help people in need.
"Scott exemplifies what a superintendent should be," Dave Dirubbo, Acella Construction founder and president, said in a statement. "He is a go-getter, never says no to a client and takes on whatever needs to be done. And he brings the work in on time and under budget. We are very pleased to have him in this expanded role."
