Fall River-based BankFive recently held a ribbon cutting ceremony to open its new Somerset branch at 54 County St.

As part of the ceremony, BankFive made donations of $500 each to two local nonprofits: the Arnelle Hagerman Food Bank and Raiders Reaching Out, according to a statement.
