Berkshire Bank Wins Two ‘Communicator Awards’

Pittsfield-based Berkshire Bank has received two Communicator Awards from the Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts (AIVA).

Berkshire received Silver Awards of Distinction in the categories for Commercials – Banks and Annual Report – Corporation.

Berkshire’s winning television commercial for banks was its "Life is exciting. Let us help" spot developed by Berkshire Bank’s marketing department. The animated spot featured Berkshire Bank’s spokesperson, banking services endorser and nine-time National Champion and Hall of Fame Basketball Coach Geno Auriemma, as the voice over and focused on finding consumers exciting moments. Berkshire Bank’s second Silver Award of Distinction from the Communicator Award was for its 2013 annual report.

AIVA received more than 6,000 entries from across the United States and around the world.
