Berkshire Bank has announced its foundation is awarding $17,000 in grants to Small Business Development Centers and Service Corps of Retired Executives (SCORE) chapters in support of National Small Business Week (May 1-7).
Business banking officers have additionally hosted events throughout the week to honor local SCORE chapters and Small Business Development Centers, each receiving a $1,000 grant.
The Small Business Development Centers being recognized include:
- Connecticut Small Business Development Center
- Central Massachusetts Regional SBDC (Clarke University)
- UMass-Boston SBDC
- Berkshire Regional SBDC
- Western Massachusetts Small Business Development Center Office
- Regional SBDC
- Onondaga Small Business Development Center (SBDC)
- University at Albany SBDC
- Small Business Development Center
- Mohawk Valley SUNY Polytechnic Institute
- Vermont Small Business Development Center
SCORE chapters being honored include:
- Greater Hartford SCORE
- Western Massachusetts SCORE
