John Drew, president and CEO of Boston-based Trade Center Management Assoc., has been named to the board of directors of the Trust for the National Mall.
Drew was appointed to the board along with Todd Walker, vice president of federal government affairs and government affairs programs at Altria Client Services.
Board members guide the Campaign for the National Mall, which is raises funds restore and preserve the National Mall for future generations. As members of the board, Drew and Walker will help promote the trust’s mission and oversee the strategic direction of the organization.
"We are delighted to welcome such tremendous leaders as our newest board members," Caroline Cunningham, president of the Trust for the National Mall, said in a statement. "Their professional experience and enthusiasm for our cause provide added momentum for the Campaign for the National Mall as we advance our fundraising and awareness efforts in 2015 and beyond."
Drew became president and CEO of Trade Center Management Assoc. in 2003. The company manages leases and operates the 3.1-million-square-foot Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center in Washington, D.C. That same year he also was named vice president of The Drew Co., an innovative, Boston-based real estate management and development company. Drew is also a board member at Destination DC and serves as the director of the World Trade Center Dublin.
