The Federal Reserve Bank of Boston this week announced its 2016 board of directors. The board this year includes two community bank CEOs and two new members, Christina Hull Paxson and Phillip L. Clay.
John F. Fish, chairman and CEO of Suffolk Construction Co., is chair and a class C director. Gary L. Gottlieb, CEO of Partners in Health, is deputy chair and also a class C director.
The other directors are:
- Joseph L. Hooley, chairman and CEO of State Street Corp., a class A director
- Peter Judkins, president and CEO of Franklin Savings Bank in Farmington, Maine, a class A director
- Michael E. Tucker, president, CEO and director at Greenfield Co-operative Bank in Greenfield, a class A director
- Roger S. Berkowitz, president and CEO of Legal Sea Foods, a class B director
- Christina Hull Paxson, president of Brown University and professor of economics and public policy, a class B director
- Laura J. Sen, president and CEO of BJ’s Wholesale Club, a class B director
- Phillip L. Clay, chancellor of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from 2001 to 2011, a class C director
Richard E. Holbrook, chairman and CEO of Eastern Bank Corp., is the Federal Advisory Council representative for the First Federal Reserve District.
