Tony and Rekha Madan, principals of Boston Investments LLC, have bought 30 rental units at 14 Murdock St. in Somerville for $5.25 million.

The property is located between Davis and Magoun squares in Somerville near the Minuteman bike path. The property consists of 12 two-bedroom apartments, 17 one-bedroom flats and one studio apartment, totaling 21,018 rentable square feet in a 2.5-story brick building built in 1972.

Nearly all the apartments have wall-to-wall carpeting, according to information from the buyers.
