Donna L. Boulanger, president and CEO of North Brookfield Savings Bank, and John C. Boucher, president and CEO of South Shore Savings Bank, have been elected to the board of directors of the Woburn-based Depositors Insurance Fund (DIF).

The DIF provides excess deposit insurance to 64 Massachusetts-chartered savings banks, according to a statement. At DIF member banks, all deposit amounts above FDIC insurance limits are insured in full by the DIF.

Boulanger also serves as a director of the North Brookfield Youth Center and is a member of the Quaboag Hills Chamber of Commerce and the Central Mass South Chamber of Commerce.

Boucher also serves as a director on several industry and community boards, including the Massachusetts Bankers Association and South Shore Hospital. He is chairman and director of St. Coletta and Cardinal Cushing Schools of Massachusetts Inc.
