Three properties that are home to bars with long histories in Boston have been sold to a Brookline-based investor for $8.6 million.
The Greatest Boston Bar Co. acquired Mary Ann’s Pub at 1937-1939 Beacon St. in Brighton for $1.5 million, the Beacon Hill Pub property at 147-179 Charles St. for $5.5 million and The Tam at 220-222 Tremont St. in the Theater District for $1.6 million.
Officers of The Greatest Boston Bar Co. include Fred Starikov of Brookline, who is managing partner at City Realty, according to Secretary of State’s office records. The corporation was founded in May.
Endeavor Capital of Boston provided mortgage financing for the acquisitions, according to Suffolk County Registry of Deeds filings.
City Realty recently submitted plans to the Boston Planning and Development Agency for a large-scale residential development in Allston, with 336 condominiums and apartments built on six properties near the intersection of Harvard Avenue and Cambridge Street.
