Cambridge Savings Bank’s Cambridge Savings Charitable Foundation has awarded $65,000 in scholarships to local high school seniors.
Twenty-six graduating seniors from 14 Eastern Massachusetts high schools received a 2013 Kevin J. Fitzgerald Scholarship award. This scholarship awards $2,500 to students pursuing a traditional four-year degree program or a two-year technical/vocational or community college program.
The following students received 2013 Kevin J. Fitzgerald Scholarship awards: Lucy Dawson and Sarah Ma from Acton-Boxborough; Megan Foley and Thomas Sulahian from Arlington; Sarah Cowles and Kelley Williams from Bedford; Benjamin Johnson and Johny Li Situ from Belmont; Nafisha Khalifa and Brian O’Connell from Burlington; Rout Asefa, Ashley Correia and Dennis Garcia from Cambridge; Rose Paleologos and Jamie Wallen from Concord-Carlisle; Ashley Vernet from Lexington; Rashmi Guilmette and Lisa Willms from Minuteman; Adrita Arefin from Newton North; Jie Zhao from Newton South; Nicole Doyle and Kaitlyn Gordon from Shawsheen; Edwin Cruz and Tory Govan from Somerville; and Julia Patsios and Francesca Zegarelli from Watertown.
