Cambridge-based Carpenter & Co. has sold the South Shore Place shopping center anchored by a Hyatt hotel for $41.5 million to Bierbrier Development of Lexington.
The complex was redeveloped from 2010 to 2013 at the site of the former Braintree Sheraton Tara hotel developed by The Flatley Co. of Braintree.
The complex on Forbes Road across from South Shore Plaza contains a 204-room Hyatt Place hotel and a 49,000-square-foot strip mall that contains a Legal Seafoods restaurant, Qdoba Mexican Grill and Jared jewelry store.
