Athol Credit Union

Athol Credit Union has partnered with the Salvation Army to provide sweatshirts to youth and teens within the North Quabbin Community. The sweatshirts will be handed out at will be handed out at a Harvest Party to be held at ACU’s Community Development Center on Sept. 25 from 4 to 8 p.m.

 

Bridgewater Savings Bank

Bridgewater Savings Bank has made a donation of $2,000 to School on Wheels of Massachusetts, a nonprofit organization with a mission to educate children impacted by homelessness by providing academic support and one-on-one mentoring.

 

Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage

Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in New England recently collected and donated school supplies for The Guidance Center, a service of Riverside Community Care, which provides behavioral health care and human services to children and families in Cambridge, Somerville and the surrounding communities.

 

Copley Wolff Design Group

Copley Wolff Design Group team members supported the East Somerville Main Streets charity by joining the third Annual Race to the Row 5K event, hosted by the Somerville Road Runners at Assembly Row in East Somerville. The charity is dedicated to rebuilding the East Broadway Business District as the heart of the East Somerville community and as a vibrant destination, and improving the quality of life of all those who live in or visit East Somerville.

 

Florence Bank

Florence Bank has pledged $30,000 to the Pioneer Valley Habitat for Humanity in $10,000 annual increments over the next three years. The funds will be used for the construction of a new, two-family home in Amherst on the site of the former Hawthorne Farm.

 

North Brookfield Savings Bank

North Brookfield Savings Bank is hosting its annual Fall Harvest Food Drive to support local families in need. Residents are encouraged to drop off nonperishable food items, toiletries and paper goods at any North Brookfield Savings Bank branch throughout the month of October.

 

Partners Insurance Group

Partners Insurance Group will sponsor an event to benefit Gifts To Give, an organization with a mission to eradicate child poverty. The event will be held Thursday, Sept. 17, from 5 to 8 p.m. at The Cove Restaurant, 392 Davol St., Fall River. The cost to attend is $50 per person.

RTN Federal Credit Union recently hosted a backpack drive to benefit children and youth in need at Waltham schools and those associated with the Wish Project in Lowell and Pettengill House in Salisbury.
