Clinton Savings Bank
Clinton Savings Bank employees participated in and the bank financially supported the town of Boylston’s first 5K Bright and Bold Color Run, held to raise funds for the development of parks in Boylston. Clinton Savings Bank donated $2,800 toward the building of a new picnic area with the aid of a $1,000 grant from its credit card provider, TCM Bank.

Homefield Credit Union
Employees of North Grafton-based Homefield Credit Union participated in the annual UMass Cancer Walk & Run. Twenty members of the Homefield AllStars Team joined more than 7,000 other participants along the 5-mile route in Worcester. This year’s event raised nearly $650,000.

Massachusetts Mortgage Bankers Association
The Massachusetts Mortgage Bankers Association partnered with Rebuilding Together Boston to renovate the home of a Dorchester homeowner earlier this month.

MutualOne Bank
Framingham-based MutualOne Bank has donated $10,000 through its charitable foundation to the Framingham Police Department. The funds will support the continuation of the “Knock, Talk and Toss” program, designed to reduce the number of unused prescription and over-the-counter drugs available for circulation in the community.

North Shore Bank
Proceeds raised through weekly “Jeans Day” donations from employees of Peabody-based North Shore Bank totaling $1,226 will be donated to Sweet Paws Rescue in Groveland. Sweet Paws Rescue is a local nonprofit dog rescue that finds homes for dogs from Mississippi, Alabama and Massachusetts and works to improve legislation and awareness of dog rescue in these areas.

The Savings Bank
Wakefield Memorial High School recently received a grant through the Donald E. Garrant Foundation Inc. of Wakefield-based The Savings Bank for its Credit for Life Fair. The program helps high school students develop personal financial management skills that they will use throughout their lives.
