The American Council of Engineering Companies of Massachusetts awarded its annual Education Corp. Presidents’ Scholarship to Northeastern engineering student Matthew Schomacker.

Cummings Properties

Cummings Properties selected 30 Greater Boston nonprofits to share in $10 million in donations, ranging from $250,000 to $500,000, as part of its foundation’s $20 Million Grant Program. In the first phase of this philanthropic initiative, 130 nonprofits were awarded $100,000 each in June. In the second phase, delayed until the fall due to COVID-19, repeat grant winners were considered to have their $100,000 grants elevated to 10-years awards. BankGloucester

BankGloucester donated $25,000 to 21 community organizations selected by a community-wide vote as part of its 13th annual Banking for the Community program. Awards range from $500 to $5,000. A full list of winners is available at bankgloucester.com.

IC Credit Union

Fitchburg-based IC Credit Union donated $4,000 to Ginny’s Helping Hand & Food Pantry of Leominster. The donation is the first in IC’s new “Empower – A Community Connection” initiative.

MutualOne Bank

Framingham-based MutualOne Bank gave $5,000 to the MetroWest ESL Fund. The donation will support Framingham Adult ESL’s remote English language instruction.
