Boston Society of Architects Foundation

The Boston Society of Architects Foundation is awarding $40,000 to 16 Massachusetts entities focused on providing architecture and design education programs.

 

Commerce Bank

Commerce Bank presented a collection of hundreds of toys and a check for $500 to the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots program.

 

Cummings Properties

Cummings Properties’ employees will select a local charity to receive $1,000 through the company’s employee-directed giving program. This year, 215 nonprofits in 83 different cities and towns received a total of $296,000.

 

East Boston Savings Bank

East Boston Savings Bank recently held its annual Charitable Foundation Breakfast and awarded over $285,000 in grants to 72 nonprofit organizations throughout Greater Boston.

 

Jeanne D’Arc Credit Union

Jeanne D’Arc Credit Union employees and members donated 400 toys to Toys for Local Children. Toys for Local Children is a volunteer-based charity dedicated to making holiday wishes come true for low-income families in Massachusetts.

 

Massachusetts Bankers Association

The Massachusetts Bankers Association Charitable Foundation is distributing 39 grants totaling $154,000 as part of its annual year-end community grant season.

 

North Shore Bank

North Shore Bank presented the Massachusetts Down Syndrome Congress with a check for $1,080 from their Jeans Day proceeds collected during September. The MDSC is dedicated to enhancing the lives of individuals with Down syndrome through the education and support of self-advocates, families, friends, teachers, health care providers and the community.

 

Shawmut Design and Construction

Shawmut Design and Construction donated 1,300 toys worth $26,000 to children in need across the country through the Project Happier Holidays initiative.

 

The Village Bank and Wayland Boosters Association

The Village Bank and Wayland Boosters Association donated $30,000 toward a second bus to transport Wayland student athletes to and from games, practices and events.
