Country Bank

Revitalize Community Development Corp. received a $25,000 grant from Country Bank. The CDC performs repairs, modifications and rehabilitation on the homes and nonprofit facilities of low-income families with children, elderly military veterans and people with special needs.

HarborOne Bank

From a field of 35 applicants to eight competitors, HarborOne awarded $12,500 to two small business entrepreneurs as part of its Small Business “Pitch Contest.” First place and $10,000 went to Woburn-based Bee Balm Co., a plastic-free, mission-driven lip balm company. Second place and $2,500 went to Kingston, RI-based Stack House, a restaurant whose mission is to created sustainable careers for individuals from disadvantaged communities in an effort to reduce racial disparity and inequity.

Rollstone Bank & Trust 

Rollstone Bank committed a total of $50,000 over a five-year period to the Fitchburg Public Library in support of The OWL Capital Campaign, a $40 million project dedicated to upgrading the Youth Library and Wallace Library.

South Shore Bank

Leadership South Shore, a leadership development program created by South Shore Bank in collaboration with the South Shore Chamber of Commerce, held a ceremony celebrating its 2023 graduating class. Founded in 2016, Leadership South Shore is a professional development program with a goal of cultivating community-minded leaders who create positive change for the region and its residents.
