The owner of Boston’s Innovation and Design Building has picked up another signature waterfront property with the $114 million acquisition of Constitution Wharf in Charlestown.

Jamestown acquired the 179,308-square-foot, three-building office complex, which underwent a multimillion-dollar repositioning under owners National Development and Charles River Realty Investors.

Major tenants include Shoes.com, Home Base Veteran & Family Care, law firm Campbell Conroy & O’Neil, MGH Institute of Health Professions and Bright Horizons.

Completed in the past two years, the capital improvement program included updates to the lobby, common areas and the Boston Harborwalk, new illuminated art installations and a beer garden operated by Castle Island Brewing Co.

Newmark Knight Frank’s Boston capital markets team oversaw the transaction.
