Cuming Microwave Corp. has leased 61,000 square feet of office/manufacturing space at 264 Bodwell St. in Avon.

The 65,000-square-foot, single-story industrial facility sits on 5.4 acres of land in the Avon Industrial Park.

Cuming Microwave will be expanding from within the Avon Industrial Park in order to ramp up its production of microwave absorbing materials, radar absorbers, dielectric materials, anechoic chambers and EMC chambers. The company is a supplier to the defense, electronic, telecom, medical and automotive industries, according to a statement.

The Conrad Group’s James McEvoy, senior vice president, represented Cuming Microwave Corp. The landlord, Atlantic-Southborough Realty LLC, was represented in-house by Joseph Zink of Atlantic Management.
