Kevin DeVinney, of Bradford, has been named vice president, business banker at Boston-based Eastern Bank’s business banking division.

For more than four years, DeVinney has worked as the branch manager at Eastern Bank’s Melrose office located on Main Street, according to a statement. He has held several positions of leadership at Eastern Bank, including manager of the Salem branch and assistant manager of the Saugus office.

In his new role, DeVinney will continue to work out of Eastern Bank’s Melrose office and serve several communities, including Melrose, Wakefield, Stoneham, Woburn and Lynnfield. DeVinney will focus on the lending needs of business owners, including Small Businesses Association lines of credit, term loans and commercial real estate.

DeVinney is the president of the Melrose Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and is a member of the North Shore Chamber of Commerce, the Melrose Chapter of Rotary International and Haverhill Business Network International.
