Boston-based ad agency MullenLowe will relocate 550 employees from Boston’s Financial District to the Seaport next summer, after leasing 114,620 square feet at Skanska’s Two Drydock speculative office tower.
The firm, including its MediaHub media planning and buying unit, will make the move in July to the 13-story, 230,000-square-foot Two Drydock, joining Shell Techworks which recently announced it will move to Two Drydock from Cambridgeport.
“There is a contagious energy built on innovation and creativity found throughout this neighborhood that makes firms like MullenLowe and Mediahub a perfect fit. We look forward to providing a space for them to continue their original work,” Russ DeMartino, executive vice president at Skanska USA Commercial Development in Boston, said in a statement.
Elkus Manfredi Architects will design the firm’s interior space at Two Drydock, which broke ground in June 2018 and will be completed in the first quarter of 2020.
In addition to its Boston headquarters, the Interpublic Group subsidiary MullenLowe has offices in Los Angeles, New York City and Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
