Foley Hoag LLP has selected Boston-based Elkus Manfredi Architects to redesign its Seaport District offices, after the law firm recently signed a new 15-year lease for 165,000 square feet on five floors.

The law firm has been a tenant at Pembroke Real Estate’s Seaport West office tower at 155 Seaport Boulevard since 2002. It plans to incorporate new technology, new client meeting spaces and more daylight in its workspaces.

“Elkus Manfredi has earned a national reputation for designing state of the art workspaces that inspire creativity, generate enthusiasm and meaning in workplaces, and energize spirits,” Tom Block, chief operating officer at Foley Hoag, said in a statement.

The redesign will incorporate features used in the hospitality and residential sectors, Elkus Manfredi said.

Seaport West is part of Pembroke’s 2.2-million-square-foot Seaport Place complex, including the Seaport Hotel and Seaport World Trade Center. Pembroke received Boston Planning and Development Agency approval this month for a redesign of the World Trade Center office complex, including demolition of the 132,000-square-foot exhibition hall, additional office space, new retail space and construction of new outdoor plaza.
