Worcester Credit Union has announced its next leader.

The $81.8 million asset organization has named Lisa Perrin as its new president and CEO. Perrin will replace longtime President and CEO Karen Duffy when she retires at the end of August after over 25 years with the credit union.

Perrin has been in the financial services industry for almost 30 years. She spent the last 13 years of her career working in branch locations in the Worcester area.

Perrin was most recently the senior vice president of retail banking and mortgage lending at Leominster Credit Union, where she was responsible for leading the direction of the credit union’s retail banking and lending divisions.

Perrin has also been a board member at the St. Vincent Hospital Research Fund, is a member for the Worcester Chamber of Commerce and volunteers for local organizations such as Habitat for Humanity.
