Santander RobberThe FBI’s Violent Crimes Task Force is looking for a serial bank robber, who they say robbed four banks at gunpoint in the greater Boston area during December and January.

Authorities say the man, who they consider to be armed and dangerous, is a black or Hispanic man of medium build, approximately 5’11" and in his mid-30s to mid-40s. During the robberies, he has worn a dark jacket, dark pants, both black gloves and white gloves, a scarf or ski mask covering his face and a knit hat, the FBI said in a press release. They said he also appears to have skin tags or moles beneath his eyes.

During the robberies, authorities said, he enters the bank, displays a handgun, verbally threatens branch staff, and demands money. In two of the robberies, he fled in stolen vehicles, which were later recovered. The FBI said they do not know whether a second person drove the getaway cars.

Century Bank robberTo date, police and the FBI believe he is responsible for robbing a Century Bank in Allston, Santander branches in Brookline and Brighton and a TD Bank in Braintree. The FBI Boston Division is investigating, along with the Massachusetts State Police Violent Crimes Task Force officers, and Brookline, Braintree and Boston police departments.

The FBI is offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and charging of this suspect, and the Massachusetts Bankers Association is offering a $2,000 reward.
