The Framingham Co-operative Bank Charitable Foundation has donated $5,000 to support the Amazing Things Arts Center to telecast future performances on Framingham Public Access TV (FPAC-TV).

According to foundation Chairman Robert P. Lamprey, the funds will enhance local cable programming and provide greater awareness of Amazing Thing’s shows and the artists involved in the productions.

Located in the former Hollis Street firehouse in downtown Framingham, the center produces musical, theatrical, educational, gallery and other creative events and activities, and nurtures a diverse community of artists, arts supporters and arts appreciators of all ages, cultures and interests.

The charitable foundation’s award to Amazing Things was included in the total of $41,000 awarded to support community initiatives in the most recent round of funding. Since it was established in 1998, the foundation has donated more than $1.5 million to charitable causes as part of its commitment to improve and enhance quality of life for local residents.
