Newton-based Government Properties Income Trust yesterday declared its regular quarterly common share distribution of 43 cents per common share, or $1.72 per share per year.

This distribution will be paid to GOV’s common shareholders of record as of the close of business on Oct. 25, 2013 and distributed on or about Nov. 22.
