Government Properties, Senior Housing REIT’s Announce Quarterly Dividends

Newton-based REITs Government Properties Income Trust (GPIT) and Senior Housing Properties Trust (SHPT) have announced their quarterly common dividends.

GPIT declared a share distribution of 43 cents per common share ($1.72 per share per year). SHPT declared 39 cents per common share ($1.56 per share per year).

GPIT’s distribution will be paid out to common shareholders of record as of the close of business on Oct. 23, and distributed on or about Nov. 23, while SHPT’s distribution will be paid to common shareholders of record as of the close of business on Oct. 23, and distributed on or about Nov. 19.
