Haverhill Bank Brings Aboard New Compliance Officer

Asaad A. Faquir, of Haverhill, has been named compliance officer at Haverhill Bank.

In this new role, Faquir will be responsible for ensuring the bank’s compliance with a number of federal and state regulations and reporting requirements, according to a statement. Faquir previously worked at Fidelity Federal Bank & Trust in West Palm Beach, Fla. as a vice president and project manager.

"Asaad is a very civic minded individual and especially welcomed at a community-focused institution such as Haverhill Bank," said President and CEO Thomas L. Mortimer. "He lived and studied in Limerick, Ireland as a Rotary International Foundation Ambassadorial Scholar."
