Pwnie Express, which provides computer security technology, has relocated its headquarters to Boston’s Seaport Innovation District.

The move comes as the company’s recently appointed CEO Paul Paget seeks to continue to quickly expand the company’s employee base to meet growing customer demand.

The company’s new offices are located at 253 Summer St. That address is also home to a Babson College satellite site that hosts MBA courses and lectures. Babson is a known proponent of entrepreneurship in business, opening its Innovation District space near the high-tech startups and digital media companies located nearby.

Pwnie Express develops rapid-deployment security assessment products comprised of "innovative sensors" that make it easy to evaluate risk in remote and distributed environments, according to information from the company. Those "hard-to-reach distributed areas of an organization" offer high-risk attack paths for cyber adversaries and rogue devices.

"We could not have selected a more ideal location for Pwnie Express’s headquarters," Paget said in a statement. "Boston is home to the world’s largest startup accelerator, Mass Challenge, and more than 35 colleges and universities. I look forward to having access to some of the best engineering, sales and marketing talent bar none."

The firm’s R&D and manufacturing operations will remain in Vermont.
