Turner Construction topped off framing of WS Development’s new One Boston Wharf office tower in the Seaport District, which will include the 700-seat Seaport Performing Arts Center and 630,000 square feet of office space leased to Amazon. 

Designed by Copenhagen-based architects Henning Larsen in collaboration with Gensler, the 17-story, 707,000-square-foot building includes a hand-crafted terra cotta podium and upper mesh facade designed to reflect sunlight in changing patterns throughout the day. The Boston Wharf Paseo, a street-level interior promenade, will include shops, cafes and public art. 

Amazon previously leased WS Development’s 525,000-square-foot office tower at 111 Harbor Way.
