Two companies have signed leases totaling almost 12,000 square feet at 700 Technology Park Drive in Billerica.

M&R Consultants Corp., an IT consulting firm, leased 6,309 square feet of office space on the building’s second floor. The location will be the firm’s corporate headquarters. M&R Consultants Corp., which is expected to move to Technology Park Drive from Burlington on July 1, was represented by Marci Alvarado, vice president and Alex Berger, associate, of Parsons Commercial Group.

NextWorth Solutions, which specializes in consumer electronics upgrades and trade-ins, leased 5,652 square feet on the second floor of 700 Technology Park Drive. Technology Park Drive serves as NextWorth Solutions’ corporate headquarters. The company relocated from Lawrence. NextWorth Solutions was represented by Victor Galvani of Parsons Commercial Group.

The leases are the first signed at 700 Technology Park Drive since the building and 900 Technology Park Drive were acquired by Braintree’s Campanelli Cos. in the fall 2010.

Along with Peter Brown, director of leasing at Campanelli, Brian McKenzie, John Wilson and James Lipscomb of Richards Barry Joyce & Partners LLC (RBJ&P) represented Campanelli in the leases.

"The Route 128 North submarket is one of the most active areas in Greater Boston," said Brian McKenzie, partner at RBJ&P. "Over the past five quarters, the market attracted almost one million square feet of positive absorption, which is particularly notable given the market conditions during this time period."
